Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

  • IAS aur IPS ke liye – Indian citizen hona must hai
  • Other services ke liye – Indian, Nepal, Bhutan, ya Tibetan refugee

Educational Qualification:

  • Kisi bhi recognized university seΒ Bachelor’s degreeΒ hona chahiye
  • Final year students bhi apply kar sakte hain (lekin interview se pehle degree complete karni hogi)
  • Koi minimum percentage required nahi hai – sirf pass hona chahiye

Age Limit:

  • General category: 21-32 years
  • OBC: 21-35 years (3 years relaxation)
  • SC/ST: 21-37 years (5 years relaxation)

Number of Attempts:

  • General – 6 attempts
  • OBC – 9 attempts
  • SC/ST – Unlimited (up to age limit)

Application Fee

  • General/OBC – β‚Ή100
  • SC/ST/PwD/Women – Exempted (free)

UPSC OTR Registration – Pehle Ye Karna Hoga

UPSC ne bhi One-Time Registration (OTR) system implement kiya hai . UPSC OTR portal par pehle register hona zaroori hai.

OTR Process:

  1. UPSC websiteΒ upsconline.gov.inΒ par jayein
  2. OTR registration link par click karein
  3. Personal details bharain – naam, DOB, parents ka naam, gender, communityΒ 
  4. Mobile number aur email verify karein
  5. Password create karein
  6. OTR complete hone ke baad OTR ID milega – save karein

Exam Pattern – Kaise Hota Hai Exam?

3 Stages hote hain:

Stage 1 – Prelims (Objective Type)

  • Paper 1 – General Studies (200 marks)
  • Paper 2 – CSAT (200 marks, qualifying nature)

Stage 2 – Mains (Descriptive Type)

  • 9 papers – Essay, GS 1-4, Optional 1-2, Qualifying papers
  • Total 1750 marks

Stage 3 – Personality Test (Interview)

  • 275 marks
